Why is it so much fun to pop the bubbles in bubble wrap?

Relieves my stress. I roll it up and twist it pretended it's somebody neck.Why is it so much fun to pop the bubbles in bubble wrap?

For the same reason it is a joy to remove that paper seal on a new jar of coffee.
What's really fun is stepping on it. And I love to twist a bunch at once.

My sisters and I used to fight over who gets to pop the bubbles when we were young.
Good question! I ship stuff on ebay and I have tons of it... and I have to keep myself from popping it all the time! I guess part of the fun is that I remember doing it as a kid. It's just a simple, fun way to make a little firecracker bang and scare the cat. ;)

'Cos it just is. Everyone loves it. My kids use to put it on the ground and run over it with their push bikes when they were little. :-)
