When you fart in a pool and the bubbles pop at the surface......?

...does it contain contain less Nitrogen, Hydrogen, and Carbon Dioxide.....having water be the filter? When you fart in a pool and the bubbles pop at the surface......?
no sarcasm intended, but i think this is probably one of the most interesting and smart questions i have come across in a long time, great question!

I don't know the exact figures but I think carbon dioxide is more soluble than nitrogen which is more soluble than hydrogen

thus, hydrogen will appear in the most amount, then nitrogen then carbon dioxide

but the difference will be negligible since all three are basically insoluble in water

btw, i heard that methane is present in farts??

this, like most organic compounds will be highly insoluble in water, but highly soluble in organic solvents like toluene, carbon tetrachloride etc.

the biological term for fart is flatus

The major components of the flatus by percentage are:

Nitrogen - 20% - 90%

Hydrogen - 0% - 50%

Carbon Dioxide - 10% - 30%

Oxygen - 0% - 10%

Methane - 0% - 10%When you fart in a pool and the bubbles pop at the surface......?
i would say no because the water doesn't filter the gas....it might absorb some of the gas but the gas itself doesn't contain less of those gassesWhen you fart in a pool and the bubbles pop at the surface......?
yessssssss
I dont know, but I just farted at my desk and could of used a tub of water to filter out the stank. I had to quickly get up and leave the scene.
