Emo, bubble gum pop, or soft rock?

which of these "types of rock music" DESERVE the most criticism, %26amp; why?Emo, bubble gum pop, or soft rock?
Bubblegum and soft rock have around the longest todays bubblegum will be tommorrows who was that group.
none of them. its personal preference of whoever is listening to the music. if you dont like how it sounds, dont listen to it and move on. Music, by definition, is a collection of sounds that is pleasing to the ear. And everyone likes different music. Some people may like a song considered "bubble gum pop" but hate country, or vice versa. its not harming you if your non listening to it, so none of them deserve the criticsm.Emo, bubble gum pop, or soft rock?
I love how you put "Type of Rock Music" in quotations!

I think Emo needs criticism, I mean it wouldn't have any fans if people didn't talk about it.

Bubble gum pop doesn't need much criticism because people don't really care about it, its not depressing, and its easy to avoid.

Soft rock can have some really awful music, but there are some good things about it.

I guess its how you see things yourself... but I believe Emo wouldn't be around without people whinning about it!
Well I don't consider emo to be a music genre anyway. Pop punk, alternative rock, post-hardcore .... whatever. The music can fit into a genre.

But bubblegum pop would definitely get my vote. What's the point of it? To appeal to tweenies who will spend all their money obsessing over how hawt or pretty the "artist" is. So now whenever people think pop, they automatically think bubblegum pop which = fail. So I'd pick it for being created to make money AND for ruining the name of a (mostly) otherwise good genre.

Bubblegum pop. It even has a stupid name. Hmph.Emo, bubble gum pop, or soft rock?
Emo. Need I really give a reason? Okay, only to annoy emo kids.

But bubblegum pop isn't rock so... why is it there?
