Why does it feel like a bubble is popping in my jaw when i move it?

My jaw and neck and back of my head feels sore and everytime l move it, l feel a bubble feeling in my jaw just near my ears. My jaws are slightly misaligned and l'm getting them fixed hopefully with Orthodontic treatment. ls this why l have a sore neck, jaw and head?
