i put plants and a a cut piece of papper plate and he has a little bit of bubbles but if he makes a bubble and dont put it under the styrofome it pops and i see other bettas make a bubble and it stays ans then they make another one one then it gets bigger but my betta bubbles suck whats going on i know hes ready to breed he loves the female..... please answer the best question u canEvery bubble my betta makes pop and he keeps making alot?
you might try indian almond leaves ... the tannins released by the leaves are very beneficial for betta breeding and will make the bubbles more able to stick together ... every time i add some fresh leaves to my bettas tanks, they all blow nests that stick together ... if you can not find them locally, ebay is a good source ...

Perhaps theres too much water movement in the tank, do you have a pump? Are the bubbles moving? They should be fairly static.Every bubble my betta makes pop and he keeps making alot?
maybe he just doesn't make nice bubbles... don't worry, not all fish are pros
Mabey thier is something wrong with the water quality?
