Why is bubble wrap so darn much fun?

I have never been so immensely satisfyingly entertained like I am while popping bubble wrap! Why is it sooo much fun?

Its almost like the little bubbles have dreams, and I am coming along and squelching them! Bwaha! Die, little bubbles!Why is bubble wrap so darn much fun?
I like the sound they make when I pop them, and it feels weird too lol.

When I was 5, we put a sheet that had the HUGE bubbles in the street, and an 18 wheeler truck ran over it.
