What is this little figure in a bubble I keep seeing an ad for?

The toy comes in a little bubble, and the commercial says "Pop their squishy bubbles, cause that's where they hide!" There's even a set that has like 50 of them and comes in a gumball machine like thing. There are kids getting into these things, but idk what they are and why they like them. People are bugging me bc I don't have them, and I want to know what the heck these dumb things are.What is this little figure in a bubble I keep seeing an ad for?
