How long will it take for a bubble tire to blowout?

Today I noticed a bubble on the side of my front left tire. The tire is a size 205 45 16R which is a weird size. I had to order the tire from online because goodyear does not have any tires in that size. Anyway, i will replace the bubble tire as soon as the replacement gets here. But in the meantime, roughly about how long does it take for a bubble tire to pop or blowout? Can I drive another 200 miles on it?How long will it take for a bubble tire to blowout?
There is no way to answer this question. it all depends on where you are driving, how fast you are going, how hot/cold the weather is, how many times you turn, how long it has been there. It might last 200 miles if you go slow and don't over due it it, but if you do something wrong, it could pop when you pull out of your driveway. I sell tires as a profession, the simple answer is at any moment, but there is no real way of knowing when and where, there are a lot of different factors such as; severity of bubble(if it's reached the steel belts), speed and load ratings of the tire, and your personal driving style. My recommendation would be to have it replaced as soon as possible. It is always better to replace it with a tire that is cheap as dirt than to drive around and put yourself and others at risk of an accident due to something that you were aware of. Being a low profile tire, it could be expensive, so I would go ahead and replace two at once, then rotate the new ones to the front to best traction, if you have a bubble on the side, it is probably because you bumped a curb or something similar, so I would go ahead and have the alignment checked to prevent premature wear of your new tire or tires.How long will it take for a bubble tire to blowout?
