Update your anti-virus definitions and let your anti-virus program do a complete scan of your computer. How to get rid of a pop-up bubble saying "You are a victim of Genuine Microsoft software counterfeiting"?
Um, its not harmful. It's just Microsoft saying you didn't buy your version of windows, so buy it!!! You're not suppose to uninstall it, but it is possible.
If you are uncomfortable with removing it manually, Go to this website and scroll down to a software called RemoveWGA. I have never used this software, but I'd imagine it works.

To uninstall manually:
Open up search, and search for WGA (it stands for Windows Genuine Advantage) Delete the folder its in. After that, you have to edit the registry (Start-%26gt; Run-%26gt; "regedit") and delete all values relating to WGA. This is done by hitting F3 in regedit (shortcut for find next) and typing in WGA. Remove the value that comes up and hit f3 again... reapeat until you have gone through the registry. After this you have to turn off autmatic updates, so that way it won't install WGA again. go to start, run, and type in "services.msc" and disable the Automatic updates. How to get rid of a pop-up bubble saying "You are a victim of Genuine Microsoft software counterfeiting"?
This is a popup coming from the Operating System itself, and is basically saying you haven't registered your version of Windows. You need to enter your product key for the windows you have purchased in order to stop these messages legally.
you are infected by a virus from Microsoft because you are using a fake OS. You must reformat it or stay on it until it slow your computer.
