Why do my shampoo bubbles pop my bath bubbles?

Why is it , when you run a bubble bath, the bubbles pop when you introduce another product like hair shampoo? I ended up with out bubbles last time!?Why do my shampoo bubbles pop my bath bubbles?
Bubble bath solutions are made up of a LOT more than just something soapy and sudsy, but are made of stuff that isn't quite as water soluble as your everyday soap or shampoo, which is why they last so much longer than soap or shampoo.

When soap or shampoo bubbles come into contact with bubble bath bubbles, the mixtures of solutions becomes much more water-soluble, which, in the presence of so much water (the bath) dissolve to where the bubbles cannot maintain their consistency, and they pop.

That's why whenever I use bubble bath, I don't even try to soap or shampoo until just before I'm about to get out.

Why do my shampoo bubbles pop my bath bubbles?
It's a matter of surface tension; the compounds in your bubble bath liquid give less surface tension than those in your shampoo, hence the generation of weaker bubbles.
Dear H1976,

This Is Indeed, a "Very Serious question Indeed"?. Unfortunately, this time, I am not qualified to answer. i suggest you contact your nearest bubbleoptometrist? as I think, He/She may be able to give you a more sensible answer.

Needless to say, I will Indeed, spend the "Rest of the day, wondering, (If not worrying about this particular question".

Yours Faithfully.

I guess it is a chemical reaction..
You're weird.
Right lets start with some details: Soaps and detergents are similar but also quite different. Now I'm not sure if this relates to bubble bath and shampoo or not, but I believe they behave quite differently and have very different surface properties.

Bubbles are quite odd entities being a both a water repellent and water attracting structure (hydrophillic on the outside and hydrophobic on the inside), much like the cell membranes of living cells, and here's the guess... i imagine their 'strength' relates to a surface tension-like phenomenon to keep them intact, unique to the type of soap or detergent used.

Mix 2 different types and the surface tension of one type is reduced by the other, so the bubble bursts.

I imagine eventually any other 'type' of bubble also deflates fairly quickly too due to 'impurities' from the other now burst bubbles disrupting its surface properties
bath bubbles are made of a gentler formula.
cause the shampoo bubbles are males and the bath bubbles are female...walla...popped bubbles...
