these "pop" noises kind of sound like a bubble popping. Im not sure how old she is, around a year, possibly younger, but no older. she looks like she's in pain, when she breathes, her belly area gets about twice it's size. is this just hiccups? or should i be concerned? i feed her well, she drinks fine, and i feed her assorted fruits and veggies - guinea pig approved!Why is my guinea pig breathing irregularly and making pop noises?
You need to get your guinea pig to an exotic vet asap as it does not have many hours left at this point, the stomach doing what it is doing has to do with her having trouble with her lungs and she need to be on antibiotics now, it can not wait. She has a very serious upper respiratory infection that has gone into the acute stage. Yes she is in pain and she needs vet intervention NOW it make it, so please go now do not wait, please.
