Why does a soap bubble pop before it hits the ground?

Why does a soap bubble pop before it hits the ground or before something hits it? I need to know for science and i am confused. I know it has to do with air pressure and surface tension...Why does a soap bubble pop before it hits the ground?
The air within the bubble warms up with the sun hitting it or if the surrounding air is warmer than the air within the bubble. As the air warms up it expands, causing the bubble to expand. When the bubble expansion is enough, the surface tension can not hold the bubble together and it pops.
